Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Red Hat continues to grow, but IBM’s struggles continue

Stockholders clearly want to see more, and while Red Hat is leading the way, the rest of
the company continues to lag, and investors aren’t happy.

Unhappy indeed.

One way IBM is shifting revenues to Red Hat is by having/forcing IBM employees to take Red Hat training/certifications... so essentially emptying IBM's bucket to fill Red Hat's bucket... Who is calling that growth for Red Hat?

RH made $3B in 2018 it's been three years at 20% increase per year full the math you smendrick. Ugh, folks don't know finance and then go complain about finances. RH may not be much but they're over $5B a year now and growing.. if it keeps, it'll be the best IBM investment since Lou. (Not saying much.)

They are separate customers so they can't mix revenues since sales are separate. Nice try! Red Hat won't save IBM though ... its a distraction. 34B debt for 3B revenue ... desparation.
