Seattle Times reporting IT Outsourcing 600 IT jobs from Puget Sound, St. Louis, and Charleston in hosting servers, datacenter services cloud computing, databases and storage, software updates and configuration, IT system security against malware and hacks, and end user support.
Should be interesting to see if that means all the DBAs go to Dell as well as IT employees that support COTS or vendor tools like SAP etc or if they are just talking about OS and desktop software updates?
If that is 10 percent of IT then when are they shifting the other 70 percent of software development to India or consulting companies CA, IBM, Indian firm like Infosys. Knowing Boeing probably before Christmas 2021.

A friend of mine in IT at St. Louis has to interview with Dell to keep his job this week. Sounds like the rumor of the 80% of St Louis IT Center of Excellence over at the Blue Zoo complex getting outsourced to Dell.
To the guy kissing China Comac butt.. let them get their single isle off the ground first. Then try to scare us with their wide body plans.
Your saying hundreds of IT in St Louis. I doubt there is even close to that number of IT's in St Louis. Maybe hundreds of managers and HR people in St Louis but not hundreds of IT's. I bet there is about a dozen IT +/- in St Louis. Ever have a computer problem? Last time I did some IT guy in Charleston SC contacted me.
