Boeing’s Deepening 787 Inspections Point to Risk of Longer Delay
https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/boeing-s-deepening-787-inspections-point-to-risk-of-longer-delay-1.1567703

Boeing’s hunt for the source of manufacturing flaws with its Dreamliner
extends deep into its supply chain, a sign the plane-maker risks further
delays as it works to resolve issues that have halted deliveries of the jet
since October.

Spirit AeroSystems, which makes the Dreamliner’s nose and c—pit,
is at Boeing’s request conducting an engineering analysis of so-called
“noncomformities” on its portion of the carbon-fiber frame,
Spirit Chief Executive Officer Tom Gentile told analysts Tuesday.

Gentile spoke less than a day after a key 787 buyer, Air Lease Corp.,
cautioned that production issues “seem to have mushroomed”
for the twin-aisle jet. “There’s just greater and greater levels of inspections
going on,” John Plueger, CEO of the Los Angeles-based aircraft lessor,
said on an earnings call Monday. “As yet today, it’s difficult to see a
definitive fix that is agreeable by the aviation authorities going forward.”

Boeing to Repurpose Everett Wide-body Factory For Repairs of Defective 787’s
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-12-23/boeing-plans-seattle-area-787-inspections-after-production-ends

The plane maker intends to used the freed up space in Everett, Washington
to inspect and repair all of the defects in the carbon-composite airframes of
the Dreamliners,
And we are expanding our Search for even more Structural Defects on
The 787 Dreamliners. The level of incompetency existing in our management
teams and our employees cannot be over stated.
Now that we’ve been caught, if we don’t get this fixed Boeing will be finished.

A Complete Lack of ‘Oversight’
The FAA confirmed that it’s working with Boeing on the issue but didn’t provide
additional details due to a Complete lack of knowledge and competency.

Boeing Dinged and Damaged Military Aircraft, Pentagon Complains
https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/boeing-dinged-and-damaged-military-aircraft-pentagon-complains-1.1527186

Boeing has been cited by the Pentagon’s contracts management agency
for an increase in incidents of damage to military aircraft or components
at three of its facilities.

The citation from Army Lieutenant General David Bassett,
Director of the Defense Contract Management Agency, cited
“Recent Negative Trends” in mishaps at Boeing’s facilities in Seattle,
San Antonio and Mesa, Arizona, “that far exceeds historical rates”
and are “not consistent with expected performance.”

Mishaps at Boeing facilities increased from 18% of those tracked by the
defense contracts agency for large aviation contractors in fiscal years 2017
and 2018 to 38% in 2019. As of June,
they stood at 50%, far exceeding “levels observed in other large DoD
aircraft contractors of similar scope over the same time period,”.

No one cares about why you quit. More likely you got canned. Boeing’s pay is too good to ever leave this place :)

https://onemileatatime.com/best-plane-787-a350/

Both the 787 and A350 are revolutionary in terms of the opportunities
they’ve opened up for new routes to be economically viable. As we see
airlines retire larger planes, it’s increasingly clear that these wide body jets
represent the future of long haul travel.

While I’m always happy to fly either the A350 or 787, I do have a preference
for the A350. As an avgeek I love the tail camera, and as someone
who struggles to sleep on planes I prefer the window shades and the
quieter cabin. Lastly, in economy there’s no arguing that the A350 is
more comfortable all around than the 787.

Negative Dreamliner Prospects
https://seekingalpha.com/article/4375970-boeing-negative-dreamliner-prospects?utm_source=feed_articles_investing_ideas_all&utm_medium=referral

Further slips to the 787 program will trigger multi-billion charges
that will make the Boeing 737 MAX liabilities look small.

Deferred Balance For The Boeing 787
According to Boeing's data, the deferred balance for the Dreamliner program
Topped at $28.65B in Q2 2016 and our data shows that this happened
at the 431st delivery.
On average, for the first 431 deliveries, each delivery was roughly
$66.5 million less profitable than the average assumed profit for
the accounting block.

Boeing Finds 3RD 787 Quality Control Lapse
FAA Warns 900 787's May Be Damaged And Need To Be Fixed!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdSjZzzl_8g

Astonishingly Un-Believable Boeing Buffoonery
You cannot make this stuff up………
Deactivate a computerized quality control system to save time.
Layoff 900 quality control engineers to save time and money

Karma, inspect 893 Dreamliners that were not inspected.
Karma, dismantle 893 Dreamliners to reassembly them correctly.
Karma, file for bankruptcy due to management malfeasance
