Proof that they have poor leadership. Continued to hire while knowing things were falling apart. Lot of folks had 10 plus years of dedicated service. With that comes a good wage, bonus and pension plan. Trying to save as much as possible until next year. Be prepared for more.
not higher up old boys friends group.
there's a new Maserati or two outside every 6 months.
lots of REALLY good / hard workers got let go, mean while we still have brown nosing/big talk little action employees in lead positions.

I got the pink slip as well. After 5 years of solid work, training others, & taking on problematic tasks my supervisor didn’t feel others were a good fit for. disappointing
My understanding was that this was not the whole of GA, only the aerospace group was hit. Lost 600 positions in one day. Sad to see. Myself and 2 other director levels were let go this morning. Shut of our phones, accounts and building access.
As the other person who posted it was company wide and the higher ups wanted a 50% reduction of staff for each department unfortunately i was one of the one laid off today, No one knew this was coming and took lower management by surprise, Perhaps the hardest day of my life!
Company kept hiring over the last year despite production slowdown and lack of direct work, seemed like management didn’t look ahead more than a few weeks at a time. Kept getting resumes from managers wanting to bring people on board despite barely having hours to keep staff working
