Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Rumor of Layoffs March 13'th

There has been deep discussions at the ELT level of a global company wide layoff planned for March 13'th 2018.

All of the internal reorganizations that are occurring currently will be completed by end of January. This will allow the ELT several weeks to plan the trimming across the company and start to finalize the layoff plan by February end.

The RIF actions to employees will begin on March 13'th. There is a planned 8% reduction across the company.

Raleigh, Santa Clara and Fort Lauderdale will be hit the hardest in that order.

The whole purpose of this layoff is to open additional requisitions to continue to transform Citrix to a cloud company. The October 2017 layoff did not provide sufficient open requisitions to enable the digital transformation of the company to a cloud SaaS company.

My information is solid and well placed but please post if you have additional information on the March 13'th layoffs.

I have executive confirmation that everyone that is not on the “supportability” team for support will be getting laid off on August 6th. This was confirmed directly from JR and DH in Fort Lauderdale this past week. People are being moved to supportability now to reduce layoffs but they expect 60-85% of the team will be effected. They will also backfill positions with numerous young Asian girls so JFelix will have something to look at all day other than cat pictures. Will update when I have more info.

The next layoff will occur this fall right after the summer breaks but before Thanksgiving day.

Good luck all.

F---ing management idiots are too busy giving each other blo--obs and licking pu--y instead of doing their jobs. The middle management of the company are as much to blame as the f---ing c---s---ing, ball-licking, salad tossing m------f----s that they are. They cannot do their basic jobs to deliver products of any quality. How any of the recently shipped product even pass QA is beyond belief. The Sh--rix way has always been "just good enough" but now the middle management are not even trying to ship anything that works. Every organization is demoralized and just working under the whips of their masters. No one care about the Sh--rix company or doing a quality job.

Its all sh--, the sh--hole crapped place is down the toilet.

Hi All, did you miss me. Deep throat here. This layoff was delayed since the moron clown ELTs got exposed of the misdeeds they are doing. The layoff discussions are going on currently in the chambers in Fort Lauderdale. The ELT has been told by EM to quicken the pace of the stock price.

Don't worry the mother of all layoffs has just been delayed slightly. Rest assured the fall 2018 layoff will pale in comparison to any previous layoff at Citrix.

Get out now, you have been warned

I hope I make the layoffs this year. It’s better for me to get the package than walk away.

I guess I will languish in this Xanax fueled asylum a little longer

Dire warning to those that thought this was made up. Today the restructuring and layoffs began. Citrix is just doing them smaller and more frequently. Be warned and don’t become complacent. Citrix is just like any other employer and don’t drink the kool-aid

Unless 3-5 is "several", it's very unlikely that it happened in Santa Clara.

Heard several people we let go in Santa Clara.

They are under a gag order not to talk about details or risk loosing the severance.

The wounds are fresh and the shock was sudden so they are not saying any more to me.

Will there be layoffs? or Is it time to start a new thread "Rumors of Layoff April 1st"?

I asked my priest at today’s Sunday service to make a prayer for me and grant that I’m on the RIF list. He was puzzled but still said a few words in my favor to the lord above.

I’m so fracking done with this Citrix circus.

Did anyone notice the verbiage from the Citrix spokeman? “No, nothing planned”.

Aka “we aren’t “planning” on a layoff “right now” but we may or may not be pushing it to next week because this thread has gotten so much attention. Well played sir.

I'm sure I am on the layoff list for next week. The lack of any communication from me manager can only mean one thing. she is psychologically preparing herself to let me go.

I pray and pray that I am on the list, please lord let me be on the layoff list , receive a huge severance and release me from this Citrix circus.

Something doesn't add up. There's simply not enough "suspicious" room bookings in FTL to accommodate any kind of large-scale action.

They had to spend all of their severance money on the increase for the legal budget. This has been confirmed at the ELT level. There has been over $25mm spent in legal fees so far this year and it’s only March.

Citrix has been very consistent on the severance packages thus far and now they will dramatically change? Doesn't compute.

All of the remote teams will be notified on Monday and there will not be any severance packages offered.

Any idea what the severance might be this time around? We are a remote team and our manager went dark last Wednesday. Se was fine on Monday and Tuesday and suddenly will not respond to emails or texts to her phone.

We have no idea what is going on and what will happen next week?

In Outlook, someone from HR has the room that was used on 10/4 reserved for all of Monday and Tuesday. And previous comments mention security increasing starting on Monday. I wouldnt be surprised if they start the letting people go on Monday. I am sure its exhausting trying to cover it all up
