Flat stock price? You will be wishing for flat once customers look past marketing hype and realize dog slow Broadcom processors are useless for AI applications.

CB is useless product, cuts should be 50%+ to make sense. I am also surprised that we (BK) are keeping VMware's management layer - seems to me bloated with coasters and low performers. I suspect 50% of current VMware managers will be gone in 1 year, otherwise our stock price might stay flat.

There is a layoff scheduled for 4/26 is it possible CB is apart of that wave and not March?

CB is trash anyway, BK should get rid of it.

Legacy tech based on bad Bit9 technology and some ill advised acquisitions.
It was DoA, sans marketing hype.

Any impact on the Symantec side ? What products/teams are overlapping ?

Actually, it makes no sense at all since many CB customers are going to migrate to other vendors (if they have not already.) There is no longer any trust at all in Carbon Black.

That rumor is all over the office these days. I was kinda surprised when they announced CB was targeted for a spinoff. Adding it to Symantec makes sense.
