People leaving CareFirst

Have you noticed how despite everything the company is experiencing a mass exodus?
It seems to me that never before have so many people left this company voluntarily. The reasons are clear to me, but it is not clear to me how the management is not trying to stop the departure of the best people.
I am afraid that after a while they will finally see the situation a little better, from a broader perspective, they will be shocked at what this place has turned into. Then it will probably be too late. Sad.

Sorry guys there are too many good jobs out there. No one wants to deal with red head and her dumb a– clowns. Also management's inability to do the right thing.....ita all about if you're liked not what u being to the party.

Market is back and good folks are seeing this. When bonuses are released people will leave. Carefirst name is trash and folks being hired are sad for they are running from another bad situation.
I left and make more and a better situation.

We are the top employer in the area. We are the top IT group in the area. People beg to come work for CF. I’ve never worked with a more stellar group and such a wonderful IT executive team. AND we made the 2021 Worlds Most Ethical companies list again. Sure we don’t pay well, sure if you’re a top performer we’re going to expect the ocean of you and make you do 3-4 people’s jobs while telling you you’re at risk of losing your job if you don’t fix problems that existed for decades, sure we appreciate you and send our Covid goody bags to make you feel like you are part of a larger marketing campaign we don’t really care about.

Keep drinking the poison water you fools. #satire

It’s not just minority but the LGBT community and under 40. The white male and older population (both genders) is becoming extinct at CareFirst.

CF is a is hiring and promoting based on mediocracy not meritocracy. The comment about the HR lady is spot in. If you are not a minority and a women you do not have a future at CF. Doesn’t matter if you are more skilled and experienced, again, should be based in merit but it’s not. Remember the quotas. Sad to hire purely based on meeting a quota.

It's clear the firings are being made randomly, NO ONE should feel safe in their position, no matter how good of an employee they are.

Work your tail off, lots of maybe you’ll get “x” or “y” or even “z” ... BUT all a big maybe to get you to work more. Some people are doing the work of two or three people with departures. The best talent CF has is worked to the bone AND treated horribly at the same time. So much for the new CHRO leading and making investments in people, no, she’s only trying to make sure CF hits diversity quotas and flattening pay.

You all need to walk out and leave.

Yes it started last year with the layoffs and then others are following now. They let a lot of good people go and the few that are left are even putting in more hours. It will be too late.
