Threatening managers and associates during a pandemic over carepass sales, such a classy company with such great leaders
In this time of social distancing and free Rx delivery Drive-thru shopping as promoted by CVS, expecting customers to come in store for non-essential purchase, CAREPASS is obsolete. CVS will have come up with something different as social distancing is new normal and is here to stay with for foreseeable future.
Good News- CVS has a lot more data (email address, mobile #and other data points that cane be mined in future for various targeted promotions. Price changes stickers (done every weekend) and weekly circulars were designed to encourage walk in Front Store traffic is getting to be with highly diminishing returns in current circumstances (in my mind it was questionable to begin with).
Will be interesting to see what CVS comes up to deal with new reality. Carepass is a dead horse. Front Store is getting more and more irrelevant. People in Rhode Island realized and therefore introduced Healthcare Hub concept which currently on hold.
Except aren’t we healthcare employees not salesmen?
Haha... people that can sell will get a 50k a year job plus commission.. not minimum wage plus if they are great, 15 extra dollars a shift..
Been saying this for almost a year! Yes! Everytime i have a new interviewee I run a little sales game to see how good their sales pitch is. Never hire someone who can’t sell!!
