HR and management are absolutely id--ts here. For the love of God BB if you see this clean house and fire then replace with competent staff or promote within. The amount of failures I've lost count and if they were production they would be fired repeatedly by now. They don't even have college degrees or common sense. Employees are bullied retaliated and harassed based on management insecurities. Never have I seen such bad behavior from an employer. You should be fking ashamed.

A tale from ChemTown USA….
Jeff Parker & H M Nowlin are on precipice of Woodtrail Estates addition 3. Planning Commission has approved subdivision addition 9/9/2017. Raymon Baker - John Cook - Ralph Jones Small Business Person of the Year: Jeff Parker knows that rooftops are on the horizon for Decatur. Flash forward to 2020, the lots are ready. A select few have purchased and build their dream homes.
But wait… what’s that?! A little birdie has linked that upstream from said lots is a 3M dump site?! Mind you the City, DU, & everyone’s favorite corporate citizen are in the trenches dealing with a pesky lawsuit brought about by TN Riverkeeper at this time. The dump sites keep stacking up. Brookhaven, Deersprings landfill “Flint”, Old Mud Tavern landfill, San Souci, current city landfill.
Oh no not our dirty little secret forever chemicals. Shush! Nothing to see here just an old dump site positioned near San Souci cave. Can you believe that sink holes became landfills back in the back? This spot being on of those.
Now what is real estate man 3000 to do with these now dead on arrival lots ready for roof tops?! What he does best make a deal…
15 out of the 23 lots are now owned by Woodtrail Estates LLC. LLC based out of Delaware, doing business in Alabama with a PO Box in Fort Myers, with property taxes being paid from St Paul. Five degrees of separation… but you better believe Man of the year milked 3M for millions before signing away his development & those potential roof tops. The ink dried long before a settlement agreement was made of the lawsuit.
Whats left you may ask? A nice ditched section of San Souci creek flowing into our drainage system. Empty lots! And few privately owned properties that were build on and a few sitting empty. One privately owned lot that’s for sale by; you guessed it Parker Real Estate. Oh can’t forget the monitoring wells upstream with results that we the public will never see.
As for real estate man 3000 he signed his non disclosure agreement and took his money to downtown Decatur and received more awards.
Never forget We the people of Decatur Alabama get a new rec center while drinking the same ole water. While a select few line their pockets with 3M money! Parker, Lovelace, Thompson, Fite Construction, Pugh Wright McAnally, Enersolv, everyone in bed with the hand that feeds the city while de-stabilizing our watershed.
Friendly reminder things are not as they appear…A little different here…

When you are invited to an unexpected meeting with the title "Update" and when you come into the meeting with your leader and surprisingly HR, that's when you know its too late to do anything!
Record conversations now, all conversations. Subscribe to Otter.ai for teams meetings and phone calls. Small investment to document toxic and illegal work environment. Huge insurance policy, 1000's wished they had done.
I wish I had recorded the conversations with my manager when my manager yelled at me, made horrible comments about my ethnicity, gas lighted me and more.
I am hoping others will read this post and record their conversations if they have an abusive and/or toxic manager. I wish I had done that.
3M HR and 3M do not care about employees BUT I was told by a friend what 3M is doing is illegal. I am looking for a MN lawyer who has represented former 3M employees to get a formal opinion before I do anything. It is tricky for me since I also need to find another job (I was laid off).
The core of the problems is hr. They have a bottom of the barrel approach to their department. Monmon and that awful senior leader Kathleen Coleman were hired for being black and were both unceremoniously exited in two years. Now we have vp and svps popping out of nowhere. Their job is to take the same presentation and use it like a dishrag. Any problems? Not their problem cause it’s the supervisor’s responsibility. It’s really the best job to have in 3M. Zero work and a cool few 100k banked each year. At least we will see Zoe off boarded this year.
3M's HR, Ethics Hotline, and our leaders are all broken. If you report something inside of 3M, there will be huge efforts to identify why the corporation is not liable . . . anything to make the issue go away, anything to protect the corporation, analysis of every angle of your incident to identify how you caused the issue or the incident does not create a liability for 3M.
Always gather evidence, documents, record conversations, take notes . . . then go external. Go anonymous or not.
Solution #1 is to report 3M to a newspaper, magazine, or broadcast tiplines.
Solution #2 is to call a litigation attorney.
Solution #3 is to whistle blow to the appropriate government agency such as State Attorney General, EEOC, EPA, FDA, DOJ, OSHA, DOD, etc.
The more details, documents, and contacts you send, the better chance the story will be published, you will win the lawsuit or the government will follow-up.

Anything that goes to ethics goes to corporate hr then they double down on bad behavior instead of removing the bad hr and management. Then they pull the whole victim like you're the problem for being targeted for their insecurities and bad behavior. It's disgraceful.
Even trump corporation has better hr than 3m.
I wish BB would spend time talking to the “ordinary folk” at 3M. If he did, he would get rid of FlimFlam and his minions. He would see how the toxicity of 3M’s leadership is making employees sick and leave. I know of several 3Mers who have been diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety and/or tachycardia because of toxic managers.
I have to assume at least one of these employees contacted HR? Maybe BB should ask HR and the Ethics Hotline to provide stats on managers who have been reported for harassment, abuse, discrimination and other activities 3M supposedly does not allow under its Code of Conduct?
All of the competent HR were either RIF’d, left voluntarily once they saw how employees were treated during silent layoffs, or went to Solventum. The HR leadership is the shittiest in the Tein Cities. One of them was let go for treatment issues. This is after she RIF’d most of her competent HR in ‘23.
Sadly, HR, even in production, has been no friend of the regular worker, whether technician or production engineer. That all started when McNerney took over in the early 2000s and decided to go all-in for finding and promoting the mid-30s and younger crowd (Vale, etc.) and use Six Sigma MBB and BB roles as a conduit/fast lane for double promotions for the golden children. The masses were ignored if not treated downright shabbily. This led to an age discrimination lawsuit that 3M had to settle post Jimbo.
