Is it me, or is the messaging at AF laughably lame. Look at ABB, BECKHOFF, Emerson and Siemens. Their leaders seem like they understand automation. Rockwell has a commanding position in the strongest market but Blake and team produce a word salad of stupidity. Blake, Cyril, Veena, Tessa, Matt, Becky…… none of these folks can program one line of automation code. I don’t even know the cfo, he is the 4th in 7 years. That’s a tell. And the board? I want my shareholder money back!!!!!!

Optix is a toy, especially the hardware, it's nowhere near "A-B Quality".
Hey Blake. How is that lockout acquisition you did. All the other ones you had a heavy hand ended the same. Except in plex, you wasted $2.3b!!! For what? $200m in yearly revenue???? You ain’t that smart.
Yup… Blakes Form 4 filing says it all.
He’s got a long term incentive program that is paying out regardless of actual company performance. Company is shrinking and he still get paid, All while you little people come to work everyday wondering if it will be your last…
Pretty sickening actually, considering all the people who’ve had to go home and face their families after being rifd for “cost savings”. Those costs are a result of mismanagement - over paying questionable acquisitions and lack of consistent investment.
Has Blake offered to “take one for the team” and work without compensation until the outlook improves?
Tells you all you need to know if you’re wondering whether to stay or go. Stay until you leave on your own terms, don’t let company decide for you. Your mental health will thank you…
$Rockwell Automation (ROK.US)$ Officer Moret Blake D. sold 26,700 shares of common stock on Nov 25, 2024 at an average price of $298.6288 for a total value of $7.97 million.
What lies has Blake been telling the investors? Based on being an RA employee and what I see, I can't believe the stock price has been going up. I think RA needs a financial audit because someone has to be cooking the books.
Howdy younger employees. (15 years or less). When Blake gets ejected, who is next? Tessa, Matt, buttemrore(aka ed grimly). They all are weak leaders and would be tier 2 except Blake forced all good leaders to leave or retire early. Leave and leave now. These “leaders “ did not make the cut in the the last generation of succession planning. If the last 5 years had proven to be good stock growth, you could question this logic. But Blake is predicting another decline in business in the strongest NA focused market in a generation. He is not a good leader.
I heard Blake bought a Rivian. He think they have a great business model. They lose $33k per vehicle. Blake has performed the same. Incompetence rules!!!
I saw a bunch of people moving to other lunch tables when Blake and Becky came down for lunch. Not a good sign when employees don’t want to talk to the ceo. But how about that Nvidia collaboration-talk about a real nothing burger. Blake is grasping at straws and hanging on to ceo by his fingernails!!!!
What is the Dunning-Kruger Effect?
The Dunning-Kruger effect occurs when a person’s lack of knowledge and skill in a certain area causes them to overestimate their own competence. By contrast, this effect also drives those who excel in a given area to think the task is simple for everyone, leading them to underestimate their abilities. In the years following the first description of this phenomenon, controversy has surrounded the Dunning-Kruger effect and its validity. While it was once considered a well-founded explanation of how we evaluate our abilities, the effect has since been questioned by certain data scientists and mathematicians alike.
You walked into the party like you were walking onto a yacht
Your hat strategically dipped below one eye
Your scarf it was apricot
You had one eye in the mirror, as you watched yourself gavotte
The real talent is gone. Optix came from Asem acquisition that was pushed by last generation of leaders. How’s plex doing? Af is just a big circlej--kout of touch with the realities of modern industrial automation. Maybe Blake can talk more about cloud, recurring revenue and Rockwell’s “strength” in semiconductor. Blake has always had an inferiority complex because, well, he is an inferior leader.
15 million dollar event and another 5 million in T&E. Whoever organized this needs to be fired. Nothing but employees partners walking around hungry, empty sessions, and pi---d off customers looking for a throat to choke in person. Event has never looked worse than it did this year, cables everywhere, reps twiddling thumbs in vacant booths. No major speakers. Optix was only appeal. Customers complaining just another multi day sales pitch. Playing up Nvidia nobody while Siemens had Jensen, Gates, and Sataya. Yea it was a complete joke.
