Class action lawsuit filed against Resideo now underway

I would recommend anyone who not only purchased this c-appy stock but also invested in it in their 401k go to the below link and file a claim if they can. You have nothing to lose and all to gain.

I believe this law firm also has a labor law practice. I would also reach out if you were harassed or intimidated by current or former leadership (CTO for example) and let them know the company allowed this to happen for a long, long time and allowed them to ruin careers and treat people poorly. I would also report any age or gender related discrimination which was/is rampant and continues here..

There is no pressure felt by the execs (directors and above) because the lawyers know there is something but don’t have precise info.... that allows the deception to continue and this prevent any recovery. All that have been contacted by the various lawsuit, do provide precise information about what was seen and give names so the truth can come out and reboot the company by getting rid of those mid layers of slack obsessions. Let’s clean this Corp from the talkers

enfc - Interesting info. Which lawsuit...there's at least 17 different ones. I would fully expect the Management being deposed would lie to cover themselves and their cronies. As the lawsuit gets closer and more questions are asked they will begin feeling the pressure and either their lies will trip them up or start pushing each other under the bus to save themselves. Should be interesting. Keeping that CTO on for as long as they did and doing nothing while he ruined people fully knowing he was not delivering anything and causing damage as well as harassment and discriminating against people openly could be a HUGE liability for the company.

effj - it is definitely getting worse and numbers/availability issues are being lied about and being hidden like never before. Rather than fix things that have been broken for years they are actively hiding them and are still rebooting servers and stopping services to keep these house's of cards up and running. These systems are so unstable they get worse when it gets colder and when it gets warmer...guess what...its getting colder.

And as has been happening for months now customers keep complaining about devices disappearing, Not responding and we are now in the middle of winter. Looks like some liability coming their way. Hope this c-appy way of doing business gets exposed... there is no way they can claim uptime they are tricking the numbers.

csje - I stopped counting at about 15 different law firms filing Class action suits. I (as many others have) joined each and sent additional info to any email addresses provided. I did get call backs from 4 in the last few days. Three were very interested in not only the creative accounting but the vaper ware product line. They were also very interested in the hostile and discriminatory environment "leadership" allowed to go on. The fourth seemed just interested in how many shares I had etc and asked very basic info.

Incredible... looks like some management have resorted to blaming engineers for the drop in value, especially for the security business hardware. Seems that language is a barrier at from management at a high level with the locals in Melville... now I have seen everything... what a show of glaring mismanagement.... how those got promoted by the former CTO is beyond me

Lawsuits are growing...last count was about 11 different firms filing various lawsuits. Now that they have filed and are gathering info I would think sometime early next year it would go to trial. Most do have cut off dates to get in on it so anyone who wants to get in on the class action should do so ASAP. I actually signed up for all and sent additional info to the email addresses provided. Like previous posters stated NOTHING to lose as this ship is sinking FAST.

Yes, Moobs is trying to not have software cut since those are his cronies and people he brought in. Moobs IS pushing to get rid of as many as he can in India as he doesnt think most are any good and wants to have his friends in Austin do most of this work.

The overall company hit lists i have seen are Massive...like I thought they were a mistake (typo) when i first saw them.

Any news on the lawsuits? They just seem to write down nuggets of information about mismanagement under the former CTO.
Also heard that almost no software cuts. As for PMO if you matter, you got relocated to Austin otherwise you’re local fodder in GV or Melville anyone can confirm?

As of yesterday 10 lawsuits and growing.....this is crazy. I'm on board for all...I started a couple of days back and used my personal cell and signed up . I wasn't dumb enough to do the bring your own device. lol.

I actually got a call back on one late yesterday asking some questions. Interestingly, a few questions were about the discriminatory environment but most we about the lack of real product releases and the of financials being mis represented .

Posts being removed are either the one sharing ways to get on the lawsuit in order not to loose all your money and others are systematically removed when they contain in close proximity the keywords with RSI, management in Austin. I wonder how to explain during the lawsuits for mismanagement, projects like quicksilver who is not even product that is cutting edge, and customers can’t even register it pointing to issues with cloud, software, even hardware....
1) why can’t they fix this registration and communications with the app????

I also just signed up for both... might as well get something out of this as the directors and above (and the lapdogs in Rolle ) have their stock and bonuses and $ guaranteed so they don’t care. Actually anyone that says things are getting better is probably laughing all the way to the bank be it an executive, a fellow (they all got bought out and proposed crazy ideas worse by each quarter) or an car salesman in the Austin office.
The mis-management continues as it wasn’t the CFO that created a spin (lies) anyone that was in the ground and saw what they said every quarter knew they were lying... so either the CEO is a crook or incompetent... and until the lawsuit forces a change we will keep spiraling down. Having Halloween and cookies won’t change the flow of bad decisions. It’s band aid... Always Remember that those spinners promoted themselves and made sure anyone knowing how to execute quit or was driven out. Now we see the results 70% incompetence

Yes you summed it up correctly I t’s really the bad management that is making it go under. From bad M&A that don’t make technical sense (but mo–ns in Melville and Rolle vouch for the tech), where we think we buy then we end up having to build it anyway at 5+ the cost, loosing millions along the way and taking on extremely hostile people that promote for no reasons.
What we got to loose is our investment. So might as well get something through that class action that will proceed anyway and hold those dimwits accountable especially the CEO

Lack of innovation
lack of any contemporary design or technology.
lack of new product releases. running out of dates to push them to.
bad marketing
very bad customer service....check out the FB and instgram pages. they cant pull bad comments down fast enough
sales dropping
customers fleeing....literally
Can't write software that anyone wants or actually works.
bad M&As that cost three times more money because we have to re engineer.
Cant create a scalable or stable platform.
10 to 12 years behind competitors in connected space
losing ground fast in security space. can you say alarm.com, simply safe, abode,ring alarm, google alarm??????
focusing on the installer model in a DIY world.
Still cant get registration issues fixed due to complexity and bad designs.
Hiring 15 levels of incompetent VPs
Hostile and abusive work environment so people stop contributing.
Bad contract negotiation to use the Honeywell name that makes us pay them more than we actually make.
relying on third world resources. hire the cheapest....not the best.

but on the upside...we have Halloween parades and lactation rooms.

Its actually two lawsuits by two different law firms... I actually just signed up for both because i invested AND had in 401k. I also gave a few instances in the comments and followed up with an email about the harassment and pointed out how the company let a hostile work environment take place and did nothing for years. I also pointed out not only the create number manipulation abut also how investors are lied to about product releases and M&As that give false hope. Might as well see what I can get before the chapter 11 takes place.
