Thread regarding JCPenney layoffs

The issue of trust

Judging by everything that is happening in this company, I no longer trust our management at all. I have no reason to trust them. They have proven many times that we are all just a number to them.
It’s awful to work in a company in which there is no trust anymore. Maybe it’s just me though. Maybe you trust our management?

I have no reason not to trust my management. Why do you feel this way? What are they lying about?

Sure you're just a number. For the bankruptcy trustee. In case you haven't heard, the company is bankrupt, an management is no longer the final word on the piggy bank.

Someone tell the NEW STORE managers go out on the sales floor and help customers, everyone so stressed and I get it, COVID. JCP trying to hit people credit pockets hard, get credit, get credit. We will get credit when people can afford it. We looking for other jobs, the whole store is, no love lost here for that. JCP has went down the rabbit hole. I have been back and forth at different jcp stores and the feelings the same everywhere
