raises and bonus info was released to managers today (3.13.2023), I'm hearing of really low raises for most and none of it is helping with the cost of living. i almost wish i was layed off and got severance instead of the 5.8% raise i got after being her for 12 years, it feels like a slap in the face. hard to survive in this market with no real raise. thinking its time to start looking hard for another job outside of dell.

if you are getting 0% raise and were told your pay is already too high: it's a hint for you to start sharpen your skills. You will be on the chopping block next time they need to cut someone

For those complaining about raises, i guess all us TROLLS can say, at least you are still getting a paycheck.

Got a 4% raise and lit worth 17000 for next 3 years. I’m happy with that, given the amount of people just got fired

"Even almost wishing that you were laid off is a slap in the face of the people who were laid off."
stfu. not everything is about you. move on already for those laidoff.
Look up Dells proxy statement to see what execs got. I don't know the numbers but I'll bet you'll dump in your pants
0% raise means 0% effort for me...just saying. Why give effort to get no reward. That tells me my effort is not appreciated...and yes, I would be looking for a new position.
@1ohr+1lCAMa0q Did you change roles or move up a grade?
9 percent here
You should count your blessings if you indeed received 5.8%. Like what another poster mentioned 2 to 3% would be typical.
If you are not happy with that, move on. Even almost wishing that you were laid off is a slap in the face of the people who were laid off.
@1bxv+1lCAMa0q 2-3% would be typical most years. Less than that and it’s not a good sign. I’ve not heard of many folks getting over 4-5% before at Dell, unless they got a promotion.
Did you get 5.8% this year or you’ve only gone up 5.8% in 12 years?
As someone who is still pretty new, what’s considered a good raise?
5% after 12 years? dude you are d-mb to stay on at this point.
No raise for me.I know what I would be told but thats why im putting my effort into looking elsewhere.
No raise.
Was told I made to much already. Been told that for last 2 years. Oh well. I guess I do make alot.
