I've heard somebody mention possible cuts in May, is this true?

Its actually suprising being this many days into May, that cuts have not already started.
The question is, when the cuts come will there be anyone left to cut?
For those that are left, it's a race between announcing a new job on LinkedIn or waiting for an announcement to be told you're out of a job.
Which do you prefer?
Unfortunately most of the best and brightest that SGAS had to offer have already left. The few good folks that are now are carrying the weight of the remaining mediocre staff. If you are among the best and brightest ya probably better get out there in the job market.
Be prepared for the question from prospective employers: “ why have you stayed there so long when you knew it was a sinking ship”. The longer you stay, the harder that question will be to answer.
There's been multiple rounds of layoffs every year for the past 15 years ... why anyone still chooses to stay there and worry every day is beyond comprehension
I'd say 3 to 1 odds in favor of a few cuts. But I wouldn't expect anything drastic. No one left to cut.
I'm not going anywhere, I want to be that guy who switches the lights off...
At the moment chilling, getting paid and having a laugh, not even interested in the severance pay, because there will not be any!
This company is truly dead and has no future. As already mentioned, you cannot go into C 11 twice in as many years and think you can get out of this!
Get ready! Now get back to work!

Um guys/gals…. SGAS has filed chapter 11 twice in 2 years…. I’ve seen this before and employee’s show up for work and doors are chained or you have no vpn….you are a fool if you are sticking around for something better….. that time has come and gone….. get out now,….. there will no sweet exit packages at the end…
The only important thing to know is that they're coming. Why anyone with marketable skills would still be sticking around here is a complete mystery to me.
Given the state of things in the US and UK I wouldn't be surprised at all.
Workplace and DCOs will be impacted for sure.
Please share if you know something.
