IT leaders needs training to act like Americans

IT leadership onshore needs training to treat others with respect and dignity.
Most of them think of themselves as superior and judge others based on their job titles. It’s typical Indian mentality ingrained by caste system.
HR should start a program to re-wire them to be more like Americans.. courtesy and respect is non negotiable.

Environment is the right word, cause is how they act when they are drunk, how they treat people, manners, values, how they eat, how loud they soeak, how poorly they comunicate, how they manage the difficult conversations, everything! They are just not fit for leadership or managerial roles.

IT does not have leaders - on or off shore. They are used-car salesman trying to sell half-baked ideas, ignoring the basics, and missing milestones. They have 50 year old systems they refuse to do anything with while selling prototyping the clients did not ask nor want -wasting good money after bad..... Yet, GTS can do no wrongs, promoting the same people to higher levels, leaving trainwrecks behind them.

It is quite something to see the American executives dress up in Indian garb and post about the office visit. Behind the scenes they make comments about deodorant/shampoo and laugh about how much cheaper the labor is.

GTS is a place where people get promoted based on favoritism/ nepotism etc.. not based on hard work. Just look at certain chief of staff and ask yourself what she has achieved for Verizon to get one promotion per year..

That was a clear public signal to Musk & Co. that he’ll be on their side when we get to that debate, so they should drop the question until then.
Trump has always been clear on his vision: Build the Wall, but give it some “big, beautiful doors” for high-quality immigrants; he’s even suggested that foreign students who graduate from US universities should get a green card.
