So I wish I was one of those who have quit. However, I still can’t leave because I couldn’t find another option. I’ve been here for a long time and it seems to me that there has never been such a mass exodus of people leaving. That would be a signal in any good company that something needs to change, but not Allscripts.

Keep trying. It took me almost 6 months to even get an offer and I underestimated how long the process would take to find a new job. Like I read from other folks on here, and now I can personally say the same, the grass IS greener.
No things will not change for better until there is a huge shift in the people at the top until they cannot ship releases due to the brain drain and burn out and the board does a clean sweep of the C suite.
I think staying too long is a mistake unless you love love love what you are doing and don't care about the money. Allscripts says it pays for performance, at least they use to say this, now you have chance of a raise for the forseeable future. You get the opportunity to grow in new areas. Translation if you don't k–l yourself due to overwork, you can work more for the company by working more for free! Only management or the super high paid reap the benefits.
Allscripts has a caste system. If you make lots of money +100,000 k US, if we steal from you, we will pay you back. If you make less than 100,000 k, we will steal from you and NOT pay you back and not give you raise the next year. This is no way to retain talent. They seem genuinely surprised about the mass exodous! They think 3 recharge days and 500 dollars make you forget. How many of you would stay with a spouse that did similar?
The danger is, if you are here to long, many companies will think that you are "a one trick pony" . If you have done the same thing for a very long time, they might assume (perhaps incorrectly) that you can't learn new things.
For all investments not performing, at one point you have to make a call. Do you cut your losses and invest elsewhere or keep hoping it will turn around?
Most are going to single platform and Allscripts isn’t going to be their choice...it will be Epic. I just Allscripts and the company I’m working for now just decided to go to open market...Epic is number 1 right now. Allscripts and I quote “doesn’t have it together”. They’re riding it out.
It is always easier to find a job while you still have one - you don't have to explain why you were let go for example. On the other hand if you have been at one company for a long time you may have to explain why. You can explain it easily if you had multiple jobs, and/or learning new skills and can show a history of advancement. Hang in there and good luck!
It is always easier to find a job when you have one - you don't have to explain why you were let go, and employers won't be suspicious. On the other hand you may have to explain why you remained at a single company for such a long time to potential employers. However, this can easily be explained if you can show that you had different jobs and/or were developing new skills etc. So, hang in there and good luck!
Agree with the other comment. Do not give up easily and keep trying. Find the gaps after each failed interview. You will get there.
Change your thought process to "have not yet" from cant. Keep knocking on doors, all interviews are testing/acting.... practice makes perfect. Keep looking. something will come up.
No, things won't get better. They are just coasting at this point. Maybe a better company will buy them out, but I don't see a reason for that either. No one needs the client list, clients are leaving anyway. Most good competiters already have the applications they need to attract clients.
