Sheila is leaving NetApp. Today is her last day at work. Anyone know why? More top leaders to follow? Watching closely.

Because she was there 10 years apparently.

...and now HV gets her after one. Food for thought I guess.
Sheila seems to be a good person that knows how to play the corporate game. The unfortunate thing is that she supports and promotes people that have no leadership skills. that only cater to her and not the business as a whole and are toxic people. Many people were sad to see her leave but are extremely happy that she took several of her junkyard dogs with her!
A couple of reasons;
- Bonuses were paid
- Hot job market
She was over promoted at NetApp in the past - wasn't quite SVP material. Transformation that led was generally seen as a failure and didn't help company start to grow again. It just made the culture toxic and everyone knows they can be removed anytime. After 20th layoffs George claims it is the last one. Everyone know there is no such thing.
Cesar Cernuda was appointed as the President so she had to step down away from her acquaintance and ceo George and then Cesar brought in chief customer officer, that was all signs that if svp of customer success wasn't going to be the customer officer, then her days were numbered.

I’m thrilled to announce that Sheila Rohra is joining Hewlett Packard Enterprise from NetApp as the Storage business’ newest Senior Vice President and General Manager. Sheila will lead our Data Infrastructure (formerly Primary Storage) business. Sheila and I worked together back in my Cisco days and I know firsthand what an asset she will be to our team. Welcome, Sheila! #storage #datainfrastructure #unleashdata
