Warning to those on "Bridge Option"

I just went through this and have read reports from others as well....If you selected the bridge option, MAKE SURE THEY CHANGE YOUR RATE OF PAY!!! Go online and make sure in workday that your pay was adjusted...If you were already within the TM rate range ASK for A 10 cent wage reduction from your team leader ASAP. For almost all former buyers and supers who's rate was not too high to need changing they have not changed it, and therefore not set up the bridge account for you. This happened to me because my rate did not change, then i decided I would leave and take the remainder of my bridge only to discover it had never been set up for me and was not eligible for the remaining amount!

There's a lot of abuse going on here. Racism, sexism, and gerneral abuse of employees is quite common. #wholefoodsmarket

What the hell does your protein being too high up to reach have anything to do with this thread? Ask someone to grab it for you. Buy enough to last multiple days. We hear inane complaints all day the last thing we need is for this to be a breeding ground for ridiculous complaints when people have bigger worries like, oh I don't know, BEING LAYED OFF.

I like the store a lot but while is the protein so high up where short people can not reach.I come to the store everyday for lunch or dinner and it's the same.I have an hour lunch and I drive from Overton Squar area to get food and I don't get what I really come for ,Please bring the protein down a bit.I love your truly tuna and truly chicken salad.

I am not an African American, I am Caucasian and I know what I have heard with my own ears,also other employees have heard.,I kind of figure you woud not believe me but GOD knows the truth,come and ask some of the employees there.They need someone else to talk to besides ATL or TM's.

Whole Food is a rasict workplace they try to have you on pins and needles.They take old food from produce, meat and sea food make employees cook and serve on hot bar and salad bar.They fired a black employee for stealing a cake,but a white lady then working overnight cutting fruits was taking food out of the door every day she worked but she would tell ATL or TM someone else is stealing.They were told about it and they claimed they saw her on camera and fired her but rehired her back right then because she start crying now she has transferred to maintance department.You can smell dead rats through the store and we take pictures of them.Rat traps all in the kitchen and the bakery one employee is terrified of them,the rats are not afraid they will not run from you,they eat the bread in bakery and they still put it out then ,now they put it up because we start telling each other about it.We need some real help.We really need some decent TM's that shows us they appreciate us for a job well done.

-1pnp, if anything like this is happening you need to be documenting it. When, Where, Who, any Witnesses. Document as much as you can, go to a labor attorney right away.

If you really want to know about wholefood in the south region Poplar store in Memphis,it is a racist place to work when you complain about how things are not being done right especially the organic product not being properly washed and how the product is being handle.Employees are being called cracker also some of the black employees are being called nigger and were told for the TM to work them like slaves,The morale is down so low.TM are making differences,with the schedule being changed and employees are being threaten for not being there on the redone schedule we make copies of the schedule when it is posted,a lot of under cover harassment..Only listen to one person side and not the other.Whenever the audit comes in certain people are taking off the schedule because they It would be a better place to work againthink that the audit will be told something that could cause them to be fined 10,000.00.Some of the TM abuse their authority a lot of the employees are talking about getting a union.If only you could come in and talk with the employee with out ATL or TM you would fine out a lot of what's going on.I feel people should be treated right especially if you have given them 15 years of great service.You have a TM that stays on his phone for at least 2 to 3 hours taking care of his with own that he has a Taco Trunk where they sell Mexican food out ever day that he works.
