Don’t know about other parts of Nielsen but Scarborough was hit on the last week of July. No numbers as that is kept confidential.

For every year someone works at the company you get 2 weeks of paid severance.

Only 4 weeks pay??? What about health insurance? Were you only there for like a year?

I was let go a few days ago. Only 4 weeks pay. Sad about it but I'm glad to be getting away from this company and it's leadership.

We were informed it’s happening yesterday, they’ve disabled the townhall where this was discussed - the archival video is unavailable. As a ROC employee, they are now micro managing our work load and merging region lines which is causing A LOT of resentment from our level. We’re guessing this will be a solution of theirs, long term and they’ll merge regions, let PRS’ go and some of the managers or leads that are among those teams. It is discouraging and as a long tenure employee, I am counting my days here; whether it’s on Nielsens watch or my own. This is NOT a good place to work as there is no transparency and our pay is NOT worth the stress anymore.

Location doesn’t matter as most are remote workers, severance is based on years worked. Headcount and department may be information that would be critical to the clients but to be honest, everything seems to be about costs, even from the client side.

Keep information flowing on this site. The so-called leaders are hiding the layoffs from the media to trick clients into believing Nielsen still exists.

There is no one to blame for these mass layoffs and Nielsen's destruction but the so-called leaders themselves. They didn't see it coming because they are blinded by lack of intelligence. Almost every "leader" that I know of is third rate, couldn't cut it as a junior analyst.

The sassholes have no shame: they mass let go of people (who actually do the work) but keep themselves to ensure they su-k the company's blood to the last drop. So we need to keep the info flowing as I am more than certain that they read every single post on here.

At some point, we should start naming names to get them run for cover.
Keep it up folks, keep it up. #crash'em all
