Everyone needs to relax... the poster person is saying that the "Senior Director Store Manager" shouldn't be treating her associates like trash... she seems EXCITED to lay off her associates or "elves" if you call it. and apparently the poster said he/she has STORE EXP so she knows what it's like to be in stores.
The "Store Manager" seems like a recipe for disaster anyways.
Regardless, good luck to everyone. We really need positive people working at Macys, esp in stores. Not people that are looking forward to laying off dozens of associates,

Here is a lesson for someone of the same age- don’t share your salary, things may seem good making that from your moms basement Or your one bedroom apartment but don’t think your age saves you, your salary won’t.

I wouldn't want you in my store. You would never cut it as an elf. No Christmas spirit. You might make 90k but, unlike you, I own my own workshop in the North Pole. Go drink some Monster energy drinks and punch some holes into your drywall.

I think tomorrow decisions will be taken about who stays and who goes, right after that we will receive the call from our leader to letting us know if we are still employees or not.next day friday well receive the email about the next step to follow depending if you go then about your severance pay, if you stay ...about your benefits and returning day.at least for Bloomies employees.
