Thread regarding Apache Corp. layoffs

Fire them all

APA Corp has the most inept corporate leadership around. Listening to C-Man, SR and DP bumble their way through another earnings call makes me want to pu-e. Listened to PXD, DVN and others report and the difference is breathtaking. The BOD directors needs to step up and do their job and fire the whole bunch. I wish a competent company would buy us and get rid of these losers at the helm! Underperformed for far too long. It's time

DP, that never really worked for an operator, thinks that if you do more planning but less science and engineering, production and profits will improve.

MM was laid off because he believed too many terrible planning forecasts…

How the board keeps him as CEO just proves how much they care

Don't count on the board, especially the new guy.

Sounds like the plan still includes those inflated ‘pre-drill’ forecasts. Almost always requires more capital for less production/reserves.

DL -BOA

"John, I wonder if I could hit the 800-pound gorilla in the room, which is in March, you laid out a 3-year plan. And a couple of quarters into it, were $555 million higher in spending and your production guidance is lower. How should we think about Apache management's ability to risk that outlook? And what would you say about the outlook for 2023 at this point?"

JC

"So in general, we feel good, Doug, about the 3-year plan and -- but it would be premature right now to do anything. We've got some work to do in the short term, but we're on it, so."

Another smashing miscalculation by the clowns on 15!

What we learned in his 25years? He should have been canned 24 years ago. Wreck 'em Ralph and his merry band of mo--ns needs to be put to pasture (out to sea for the beluga). #savethewhales
