I will begin by saying I have no information - but we've been hearing rumors of another round of layoffs.

I hear the "innovation" is RAPID-ly deteriorating! So much for all the BS they try to tell us with their Rapid updates every town hall!!
Nothing is happening till after Board of Dir vote and before Q2 earning call. It’s all in the letter.

Starting layoffs will seal the deal on selling Enterprise. Temp projects i.e. Purple Park can go away to reduce cost. CC can build mock ups in a warehouse. Local teams can do testing and dev like Austin. Together is better!!
Don’t worry, they’ll send out a meeting invite on how to cope with stress right before. They’ve done is every round thus far.

How much $$ can CC charge when a Rapid fiber is cut?? Maybe billing the damager is the Smart/Fast way to Enterprise profitability??
Google tried Rapid also? CATV 20 years ago made shallow narrow cuts for drops & .500 coax across streets. Used traffic loop compound to seal. CC bought a company that did the same. How that's holding up..

It’s absolutely nuts that anybody still wants to work for Crown. When the sh-t hits the fan and you lose your job you will have nobody to blame but yourself. You’ve had plenty of warning signs and time to get out. Living in constant fear of losing your job in hopes that the Crown Castle of 10 years ago somehow comes back is just not worth it.
During one of our weekly staff meetings with my VP, he explicitly stated that there have been no discussion at the EMT level about layoffs in the first half of the year. That’s not to say that anybody should feel safe. Just saying that nobody should really be worried until after June.
Probably right before the next Holiday.

My suspicion is that there will be one in q2. The order volume is still low and fewer people have left post bonus than in years past

Their hoping the Hiring freeze & Attrition will take care of it
In order for the company to seem profitable for any potential buyer, they will make it slim and to the bone. Its only a matter of time. Of course, you will only know the day of. Just get out before the collapse.
