Look at the good people leaving. I am seeing it across all lines of business. These are not just mediocre representatives and managers but leaders. The eminent sale has the best worried or is the endless uncertainty wearing even the best of our people out?

This is going to be easy....like really easy. Just run......run far, far away. SD no one cares about your stories anymore or your opinion. It's a waste time, always has been and always will be.
Fake News baby. #s looking solid. Try again next quarter kiddies.
First it was "Massive Layoffs in March", then Q1, then June, none of which has happened (of course we're not to June yet), but what are your sources? How do you know? Why are we to believe you? For all I know, you're just bored and have nothing better to do than to stir the p-t.
Restructured layoffs imminent.
A few more have turned in their notices this week. I'm pretty sure everyone is looking. I don't think anyone feels appreciated anymore. The workload is becoming unbearable.
AVE is the new SVP, Merchandising and Marketing.
I know who ME is but who is AVE?
JH was a disaster. Sure she got a nice package compared to those who were let go and busted their tail for decades bleeding Staples Red.
Guess Staples finally had enough of JH
JH needed to go along time ago. Best decision SD has made to date. The leaders she let go and those she bullied or allowed others to bully are all cheering now. Now her inner circle can start sucking up to the new GUY. He is smart though so work will speak for itself.
Lots of shock in the announcement today... AVE and ME promoted to SLT? ME running sales? Both were mediocre junior managers not long ago! Good luck everyone!
A lot of great people leaving AND a lot of great people with knowledge and experience that were laid off. Staples is great at ruining business and people’s lives.
JH – out. Another one leaving.
Company has been hemorrhaging talent for several years now, especially on the digital side. All while "ecommerce is the future." The fact that even the incompetent CTO fled the sinking ship (and was replaced by someone barely technical at all, and no longer using the title CTO) is the final admission that Staples is basically outsourcing the entire digital side of the business, which was the only thing keeping it afloat over the past 12 months.
Somehow it just gets worse and worse. But the diversity initiatives and comments on social and political issues have been so inspiring lately that I think the public markets will be interested in the business for that alone.
I'll call it now: Chapter 11 in the next 12–18 months.
Take a look at some of the new hires over the past 12 months. It is fair to say they do not have the experience nor drive. You are correct, a lot of GREAT employees leaving and for good reason. Staples IMO is not thinking long term and will not only lose a lot of amazing employees but also clients.
