Is HealthGrid part of the potential sell off/divestiture?
Seems quite a few technical writer’s got the axe. Some who have been there for over 20 years. Such a shame that people with loyalty got let go. The company is k–ling themselves and definitely going in the wrong direction. Stay strong those of you still there.
Did North American EHR/PM Pro support team get hit? How many are there now?
Sad but not surprising!
Got let go in the April RIF but have maintained dialogues with people in my former organization, as well as other peers in leadership. Just got off the phone with one of my friends who had been with MDRX for nearly 5 years, he had been offering himself up to be RIF'd for several months. His wish came true today. He indicated a much larger wave of folks in sales, as well as other orgs will be RIF'd tomorrow. VP of Prof Services RB was let go last week, his replacement was a Sales VP with no operational services experience - good luck to her given services is way understaffed and customers are not happy with current services performance. My friend validated the rumors re: chunks of the company getting sold off; he was aware of Veradigm, EPSI, and others. Interestingly enough he shared MDRX was close to a total buyout of the company last year with a German company, but they backed out the last minute. The underlying message from the 30 minute call was be glad we both got out, the chaos and senior management incompetence has only gotten worse. He was told he'd be getting his deferred comp, but his management indicated that wasn't necessarily true for everyone getting RIF'd.
F—ers. That's the only way to describe these sacks of putrid defecation.
How many got impacted? Anyone has the number?
Not surprising as it is the end of the quarter. AS needs to be as lean as possible going into the last quarter of the year. They had recently moved Payerpath into the Veradigm bu. There are some that think that Veradigm will be sold off. Is this decrease in personnel in preparation for that change - making that unit as lean and attractive as possible to a buyer?
Does anyone know how many people were impacted? Did they get a severance package?
Best wishes to all that were impacted by this move today. Remember, this is not your fault and cannot be taken personally. However, start knocking on the doors of any contacts you have in the industry. My experience has been that seeing new employment is more than a full time job, especially with the COVID threat still a big reality in the US.
Veridigm, some Sunrise Solutions, QA....seems a mixed bag
Another round of layoffs? Which BU?
