COMAC saga is similar to Airbus. Everyone considers it insignificant. Reality is Boeing is becoming insignificant.

Airbus started with little expertise and acquired it via design centers in Europe, Canada, India and US. Boeing had much expertise and dumped it and lost many lives for Boeing executive wealth generation. Two very different approaches. Wonder which one will be more successful...

Been hearing rumors of Boeing wanting to sell off their defense and airplane units. But can't imagine any company wanting to take on all their debt, failed projects, obsolete products and dismal future outlook given the competent competition.

Airbus has had a successful 700 person engineering design center in India for 25 years. But unlike Boeing, Airbus has experienced engineers and mangers and fires non performers instead of promoting them.

Great place to go. I sure hope they are better at aerospace than company help lines in America😁

I am confident the design center will take Boeing to new level. Why just 10 years in our modern century Indian trains installed actual toilets on trains. This rapid progress is a good indication of India's engineering capabilities. Expect the unexpected.

Come on guys! How is that going to regain public trust? I'm going to start flying JetBlue. They prefer Airbus.

Boeing wants to open a design center in India and have most of the engineering done there. Basically replace the Moscow design center with one in India.
