Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Should University of Phoenix Get the ZombieCollege (c) Designation?

Clearly, Corinthian Colleges and Education Management have reached ZombieCollege (c) status and ITT Educational Services (ESI) may be there soon. Should University of Phoenix get the designation? If not, please explain.................... https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/article/5980844737412763648/edit?articleId=5980844737412763648&trk=pulse-art-edit_btn

CK...Please explain how you still troll these sites. Did you finally give up on fighting to teach in the prison system? You must be pretty bad that you can't even teach the criminals, yet you post on the education sites like you are some genius. Anyone taking advice from you needs a head examination. You have no value to offer...you google and post...the folks that work or worked at UOP and have the connections wind up posting the relevant information. You just troll and toss something useless out now and then...shoo...go away.

Camden, if Corinthian was the most sleazy and corrupt of all 'for-profits' and if ITT is almost as bad, who takes the third and fourth place?

@last poster, you sound like management. BTW, it sounds like 2-Foot Hurdles may be back in business soon. There are also two pages on Facebook devoted to a Class Action Lawsuit against University of Phoenix.

Hi Camden, your short selling of higher ed stock must be going well. Please stop this.

@Anonymous101395, it's too difficult (from the outside) to tell who is next in the #zombiecollege crash . Lots of politics involved. The publicly traded schools are getting the most scrutiny (that's why Laureate (Soros/Kravis/Clintons) and Full Sail aren't mentioned). There are several following the path of Corinthian Colleges, including EDMC (Goldman Sachs/KKR), ESI (Vin Weber, Richard Blum), CECO (Richard Blum), LINC, BPI...............................https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/for-profit-zombie-college-crash-dahn-shaulis-5980844737412763648?trk=mp-author-card

Camden - you had a pretty good call on Corinthian (bankruptcy) and ITT (execs will be jailed - SEC charges). Who is the next for profit to collapse and why?

UOP and all for-profits have been zombie institutions since their inceptions, i.e. reprobates for students, hacks for instructors, incompetents for middle managers, and manipulative thieves for executives.
